Aperini and APICE: Identifying Alcohol-Free Versions

With Aperini and APICE, the exact bottle matters more than the brand name.

With Aperini and APICE, the exact bottle matters more than the brand name. A non-alcoholic spritz requires a version explicitly labelled alcohol-free.

Check the version when shopping

ALDI Nord lists APERINI within its non-alcoholic beverage assortment. That does not establish that every bottle carrying the name is alcohol-free or that every store keeps it in stock. Check the full product name and alcohol statement on the shelf.

Without a specific current APICE listing, a blanket claim about range, alcohol content or price would be unreliable. Do not treat the two names as guaranteed identical alternatives. Retail promotions may be temporary, and an older recipe article is not a stock check.

Spritz with a confirmed non-alcoholic base

Pour 50 ml of an appropriately labelled aperitif alternative into a glass of ice. Add 100 ml non-alcoholic sparkling wine and 30 ml sparkling water. Stir gently and garnish with orange.

If the product is already a sparkling ready-to-drink beverage, first serve it on ice without additions. Decide afterwards whether it needs lengthening. A finished drink and a still aperitif do not require the same ratio.

Common questions

Can I check availability online?

Use the retailer’s current product or local-store information. A general statement about ALDI North or South does not establish availability in a particular shop.

What if it is unavailable in my country?

Choose another non-alcoholic orange or bitter aperitif by flavour and format. Our spritz buying guide explains the options.

Choosing and buying

Compare the actual bottle rather than the brand name alone: product type, stated alcohol content, ingredients, bottle size and suggested serving amount all affect how it works in your recipe. Prices and availability vary by retailer and region. Follow the storage instructions on the product after opening.

The right choice depends on the drink you want to make. For your own comparison, mix each candidate with the same quantity of the same mixer and use equal amounts of ice.
