Vanilla Mocktail with Passion Fruit: A Creamy Recipe

This vanilla mocktail combines tropical passion fruit with a creamy vanilla base.

Serving inspiration from the ProstZero drink collection: velvet peach cloud

This vanilla mocktail combines tropical passion fruit with a creamy vanilla base. Passion fruit nectar, a little orange and vanilla yoghurt create a dessert-like drink. Sweetness depends strongly on the vanilla product used.

The quantities make one serving. Measure the ingredients before mixing and chill any mixer. Syrups, juices and bottled alternatives vary in sweetness and acidity, so taste the base before topping up.

Ingredients for one serving

  • 80 ml passion fruit nectar
  • 30 ml orange juice
  • 60 g vanilla yoghurt or plant-based vanilla alternative
  • 30 ml cold water
  • Ice as needed

Method

  1. Stir the vanilla base smooth with water.
  2. Add nectar and juice.
  3. Blend briefly with a little ice.
  4. Check consistency and serve immediately.

Getting the balance right

Fruit acidity affects different dairy and plant-based products differently, so test a small portion first. A thick vanilla yoghurt needs more water, while a pourable vanilla drink needs less. Extra syrup is unnecessary initially.

Variation and substitutions

For a more dessert-like variation, use a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and reduce yoghurt. For a lighter version, mix plain yoghurt with a little non-alcoholic vanilla syrup.

Preparing several servings

Measure juice, purée and syrup shortly before serving. Add ice and carbonated ingredients when you make the drink. To serve a group, multiply the quantities, but adjust one glass first before mixing the whole pitcher.

Common question

Is this an official branded recipe?
