Non-Alcoholic Sarti Spritz: Alternatives and Recipe

A non-alcoholic Sarti Spritz needs a replacement for the alcoholic Sarti Rosa as well as a non-alcoholic sparkling ingredient. This version uses blood orange, mango and passion fruit to build a fruity spritz. It is an interpretation of the flavour direction, rather than a claim to reproduce the bottled aperitif exactly.

Sarti describes the original with blood orange, mango and passion fruit notes. That makes a plain bitter-orange replacement a different flavour choice. Source: Sarti Aperitivo .

Ingredients for one glass

  • 40 ml blood orange juice
  • 20 ml passion fruit nectar
  • 10 ml mango purée
  • 10 ml fresh lime juice
  • 80 ml chilled non-alcoholic sparkling wine
  • 40 ml sparkling water
  • Ice and an orange slice

Stir the juices and purée together in a wine glass. Add plenty of ice, then the sparkling wine and water. Stir gently once and garnish with orange. Mix thick mango purée into the juice before adding the ice so it does not settle in a lump.

Choosing the right alternative

For a fruit-forward drink, use the juice recipe as written. For more bitterness, replace 20 ml of the blood orange juice with a non-alcoholic bitter-orange aperitif, then taste before adding more. For a lighter drink, increase the sparkling water by 20–40 ml.

A bitter-orange aperitif will pull the flavour towards an Aperol-style spritz. That can work well, but it does not supply the mango and passion fruit notes on its own. Our non-alcoholic Aperol buying guide explains the different formats.

Balance before adding bubbles

Passion fruit nectar and mango purée can both be sweetened. Taste their mixture with the blood orange juice before topping up. Add lime in 5 ml increments if it tastes syrupy, or a little extra mango if the acidity dominates. Water changes the concentration of everything, so use it after balancing sweetness and acidity.

For four servings, multiply the fruit ingredients by four and keep the mixture chilled. Add ice and the sparkling ingredients to each glass at serving time. This is more reliable than leaving a finished jug on the table while its ice melts.

Common questions

Can I use regular Sarti and alcohol-free sparkling wine?

You can mix them, but the resulting cocktail still contains alcohol from Sarti. Select a non-alcoholic base as well as a non-alcoholic sparkling ingredient for this mocktail.

Can I leave out the sparkling wine?

Replace it with sparkling water and, if needed, 10–20 ml white grape juice. If your passion fruit nectar is already sweet, try water alone first.

Does the recipe guarantee 0.0% alcohol?

The result depends on the products you buy. Check each bottle’s stated alcohol content if you specifically want 0.0%; the recipe name does not establish that figure.
